PROJECT DESCRIPTION
The urban regeneration areas of the city of Barcelona include the neighborhoods of Trinitat Vella, La Pau, Besòs-Maresme, Canyelles, Can Peguera, and Jardines Massana. The urban regeneration activities involve a multidisciplinary strategy targeting both buildings and urban fabrics, addressing situations of inadequacy or degradation of the basic habitability requirements of buildings. These activities integrate social, environmental, and economic measures.
The social team conducts a diagnosis of all communities of neighbors, provides support for resolving situations involving lack of ownership or residency documentation, organizes all necessary rehousing during building renovations, and mediates conflict resolution.
