PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

As part of the Metropolitan Housing Consortium’s Rehabilitation Programs, one of the most prominent is aimed at neighborhoods with socio-economic vulnerability in Santa Coloma de Gramenet (Raval, Fondo, and Santa Rosa), Badalona (Llefià), Cornellà de Llobregat (San Ildefonso), and Hospitalet de Llobregat (Pubilla Casas).

Each neighborhood is divided into sectors, with each sector having a team of architects who explain the proposed rehabilitation project, addressing conservation deficiencies and implementing energy-saving measures to apply for Next Generation EU Funds. Communities of neighbors must hold several informational meetings and community board meetings to approve the works and secure financing for the non-subsidized part. The mediation team at Ètic Hàbitat is responsible for organizing meetings and boards, supporting decision-making, and mediating in case of conflicts. They also assist in finding financing for the non-subsidized part and ensuring the entire process complies with current regulations.
