PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

The High Complexity Building Rehabilitation Program of the Pla de Barris by the Barcelona City Council targets buildings with severe conservation deficiencies and poor Technical Building Inspection (ITE) results. Additionally, the communities of neighbors are in socio-economic vulnerability, making rehabilitation works challenging to undertake. The program subsidizes up to 80% of the cost of the rehabilitation works, aiming for an energy savings of between 30% and 60%. More than 250 communities included in the Pla de Barris have participated or are currently participating in the program.
